Marucci CAT 9 Connect Drop 8: MSBCC98
Marucci has made some big strides with the new handle and barrel upgrades on their Marucci CAT 9 Connect drop 8. The two-piece CAT 9 Connect drop 8 combines a carbon composite handle with the strengthened, thermal-treated AZR alloy barrel; a brand new feature for 2021.
Marucci also incorporated their Outer Locking System (OLS) which stiffens the handle and allows the hitter to have just the right amount of feel without the hand vibration and bat sting of one piece bats. The OLS connects the composite handle into the AZR alloy barrel using an outer sleeve to deliver one of the stiffest connections in baseball. No other drop 8 bat connects the handle and barrel using an outer sleeve which makes the Marucci CAT 9 Connect the most end loaded drop 8 on the market. Marucci’s OLS technology drastically improves handle stiffness and barrel performance.
