Closeout, used or blemished: what you're getting
- New closeouts: new in the wrapper, never swung, with the full manufacturer's warranty listed on each product page. Some are last season's model and some go back a few years, like the 2023 Louisville Slugger Meta and the 2022 DeMarini CF.
- Cosmetic blemishes: still new, with a paint scuff or graphic flaw that doesn't touch the barrel's performance or strength.
- Used bats: swung before, so they don't carry a manufacturer's warranty. Our bat experts check every one for structural soundness, and you get 30 days to hit with it. If it's not right, send it back for a full refund or an exchange, and the return is free.
Closeout sizes are limited to what's left in stock, so if you see his length and drop, don't sit on it.
Make sure it's legal for his league
An older bat plays by the same rules as a new one: the stamp on the bat is what his league checks. Little League and most rec leagues want the USA Baseball stamp, most travel teams play under USSSA rules, and high school and college require BBCOR .50.
