2021 Wilson A2K D33 Glove Review

There are only two new A2K’s for pitchers in the 2021 lineup, The D33 and the B2. THe B2 is also up on our blog so check it out if this glove isn’t for you. The D33 is the smaller of the two and lighter because of the super skin back. Unlike the new Super Skin A2000’s this A2K doesn’t have the full back Super Skin. This glove also has snakeskin patterned Pro Stock Select leather on the wrist and up the index finger and thumb. The combination of Super Skin and Snakeskin pattern give this glove a look that not many other gloves have. There is a little bit more color on this one. Still mainly black like the B2 but with saddle tan laces, welting, and binding.

The logos and stitching are red to give it more of a pop. The web on the D33 is a redesigned Closed Pro Lace web which still gives you the concealment all pitchers want and need, but in a different way than the traditional closed web we are use to. It has the similar look of a trapeze but with a tighter lace pattern you can’t see as much through the web. You won’t put on a more comfortable glove than an A2K, and pitching with this D33 won’t disappoint. It is 11.75 so if you’re looking for a longer glove check out the B2 I previously mentioned or come in and try them both on.
