This new 1786 A2000 glove model is the second glove with spin control I have gotten my hands on from the new 2021 lineup, and I’m loving the look of the dimpled leather more and more. This glove not only has that spin control technology in the front but Wilson has even added some dimpled texture to the back of the glove, on the wrist strap and partially on the pinky and thumb slots. While there is no practical use for spin control on the back it does give it a little touch for the eyes if you prefer multi-colored gloves.
This A2000 has a shallow pocket ideal for you middle infielders who need to get the ball out quick. The combination of a shallow pocket and Spin Control gives you that ability to make quick transfers with the confidence of not losing the ball. You have to love a glove that is working harder for you and that’s what you are getting with any glove that utilizes the spin control dimpled leather. All of the new A2000s have an amazing feel and are guaranteed to fit to your hand better than any other glove out right now.

Being able to see and try out all of these gloves has made me notice just how much attention they put into the details of each one. One of my favorite small details is the new logos Wilson has gone with for the new line up. The outline in the stitching does make the logo pop more and adds a better aesthetic value. The dual welting you see in each finger and even the flat finger binding creates a sleeker look. If you haven’t yet, come in and get one of these bad boys on your hand and see for yourself.
