2021 Wilson OA1GM A2K Glove Review

The OA1GM A2K is one of my favorite gloves from Wilson's 2021 glove line up. The all red look with yellow logos is definitely an eye catcher. This A2K just happens to be the Ozzie Albies custom game model, and if you’re a middle infielder it was made for you. It has a shallow pocket to help get the ball out for the quickest transfers. Like other A2K models, this glove touts the double palm construction, and the Pro Stock Select leather. Wilson came up with an idea to place a thin piece of leather in-between the inner and outer shells to create a more stable pocket that will keep its shape for a long time. If you thought the A2000 had nice leather, just wait until you feel this ProStock Select leather. This glove is a higher price point from the A2000 with the A2K coming in at $379.95. You are getting what you pay for with this glove though. Wilson only uses the top 5% of leather hides to craft their A2K, which in the long run will keep your glove looking and feeling new longer. Another thing I love about this glove is the time and effort Wilson’s glove craftsmen put into making each one. The A2K is put to the real test with 3 times more pounding and shaping to make sure these gloves can last for years.

This is the first A2K of the 2021 lineup I have had the opportunity to review and I can’t wait to get my hand in a couple more because this glove is a true beast. If you are looking for a top of the line glove that will without a doubt make you the star of the show, then look no further because you have found it. Check it out here on our site or come in and try it on, I guarantee it won’t disappoint.
